Stand Up for Life Vigil
On Sunday, October 3rd, from 2:00 – 3:30pm in Huntington, LI at the intersection of Route 110 & Route 25 (Jericho Tpke), Brother Knights from all Councils in Nassau & Suffolk Counties are invited to join in the STAND UP FOR LIFE vigil. Sponsored by the Long Island Coalition for Life, this event is one of 1500 vigils that will be held (rain or shine) across the United States and Canada, the weekend of October 3rd.
Brothers wearing their KofC wardrobe will join advocates from churches, other organizations and families, who will hold signs (to be provided at the sign-in table), for 90-minutes, silently, prayerfully, standing 10-feet apart on the roadside, displaying messages of Choose Life, Save the Unborn, etc., in an effort to change the minds & hearts of pro-choice supporters driving by. Be a witness and Stand UP for human life!!!!
