NYS Charitable & Benevolent Raffle Results
This year’s campaign reported had sales of 57,837 books statewide, which is at least 500 more than the prior year. As you probably know, these funds are donated to several worthy causes, including all 8 dioceses in NY, our high school scholarship program, and the many charitable programs performed by the local councils.
Our Council sold over 400 books, greatly exceeding last year’s sales. This put us in the State Deputy’s Trophy Book, achieved by selling at least one book per member. The funds we receive from the sales, $4 for every book sold, will be used to support the many charitable endeavors of the Council.
